We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic team in the fast-paced world of eCommerce marketplaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong software engineering background with a passion for ensuring quality and reliability across our platforms. As an SDET, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining test automation frameworks, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Test Automation Development: Build and maintain robust, scalable test automation frameworks for API, web, and mobile platforms.
- Manual Testing: Carry out manual testing for functional and non-functional features in ongoing releases
- Code Quality: Write high-quality, maintainable, and reusable code to expand automated test coverage.
- Performance Testing: Develop and execute performance and load tests to ensure the platform can handle peak traffic scenarios.
- Continuous Integration/Delivery: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for seamless and efficient deployment cycles.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to identify and resolve issues early in the development lifecycle.
- Test Strategy: Design comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts to ensure coverage of functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Identify defects, report issues, and track their resolution using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Tool Optimization: Research, evaluate, and recommend tools or frameworks to enhance the testing process.
- Production Readiness: Collaborate on release readiness processes to ensure the stability and reliability of new features.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#).
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Strong understanding of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) and principles (REST, SOAP).
- Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, or k6.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure Pipelines).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Prior experience in eCommerce or marketplace platforms is highly desirable.
- Understanding of payment systems, order workflows, and inventory management in a marketplace environment.
