We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and digitally savvy Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and support business growth with timely insights and compliance. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, tech-enabled environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger management
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations (e.g., VAT filings) and support audits
- Work closely with internal departments (e.g., Procurement, Tech, HR) to align financial practices
- Monitor and reconcile digital payments, e-commerce transactions, and loyalty program accounting
- Assist in implementing automation initiatives within the finance function
- Manage vendor reconciliations, employee reimbursements, and petty cash processes
- Continuously evaluate and improve finance processes for efficiency and accuracy
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA Inter/ACCA/CMA preferred)
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in digital, retail, or tech-driven environments
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, and financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP)
- Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with automation tools (Power BI, Power Query, etc.) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setup
